Howdy Folks!

Many of you have contacted us asking about lodging and trail rides. Due to ongoing construction, we have accepted a very limited number of lodging reservations this summer, and are not accepting any new reservations for the months of July and August. September and October are available for those looking to enjoy the fall colors, hunting season, and crisp mountain nights. In the meantime, our horse program is open and running full swing! Check out the rides we have to offer and give our head Wrangler, Dan Elzy, a call to schedule your trip today!

We have several breathtaking rides to choose from:

  • Stagecoach Trail – A one-hour trail that follows County Road 77, an old stagecoach road, offering both shaded lanes and open ridges.
  • Tarryall Loop – A one-hour ride that meanders through Pine and Aspen trees, passing unique rock outcroppings and old mining cabin ruins.
  • Pike’s Peak Lookout – A two-hour ride that leads you into Pike’s Peak National Forest where you will climb to near timberline for a clear sight of “America’s Mountain,” Pikes Peak!
  • Lizard Rock – A two-hour ride with an elevation gain that takes you to a lookout high above Tarryall valley with breathtaking views in every direction.
  • Box Canyon Ride – A half-day ride down to Box Canyon, where you will enjoy a light sack lunch beside the rushing Tarryall River between the tall canyon walls.

Whichever ride you choose, our wranglers promise a great time on one of our excellent horses. We have the perfect horse for every person, whatever your riding level. Riders must be at least 6 years old and 48 inches tall. Pony rides are available for younger riders; inquire for pricing. Riders under 12 are required to wear a helmet.

Fall Special Trail Ride Pricing:

  • One-hour trail ride: $65.00 per person
  • Two-hour trail ride: $90.00 per person
  • Half-day trail ride: $150.00 per person (price includes a light sack lunch)

To ensure an excellent ride, we recommend wearing a long-sleeved shirt and hat, and bringing along a light rain jacket and sunscreen. Jeans or long pants, no shorts, and shoes with a closed toe are required to ride. A boot or shoe with a heel is best. Water will be provided.
